- 50 Ways to Tell You’re From London Without Telling You’re From Londonby Kunasekaran Kokula Krishna Hari on March 1, 2022 at 1:39 pm
London is an International place where we need to adopt new learning. Ah yes, London is a whole world in itself. Just like everyone learns certain things once they move to London, there are some things that only people living in London will truly understand. I have compiled a few of the important things which one can say while you are in London, United Kingdom to sound like a perfect British guy. Are you OK/alright? It’s a f**king weather always! Grab your brolly, it may rain anytime. Mind the Gap! Which Zone are you living in? Running for the train even if the next is in 2 minutes. See it, Say it, Sort it! Tired of being Tired? Floradix Changing at Bank Station. £15 for a cocktail is reasonable. I walk faster than I run. Tower Bridge is not the London Bridge. Refusing to go South/North of the river. Stand on the Right. Innit? My home rent is 75% of my salary. Oyster/Contactless card before reaching the ticket machine. Checking weather 4 to 5 times every day. Living and Breathing is with Citymapper. I know how to pronounce Maidavale, Holborn, Marylebone, Plaistow and Ruislip. It’s only 21 degrees and people The post 50 Ways to Tell You’re From London Without Telling You’re From London appeared first on Kokula Krishna Hari Kunasekaran Blog.
- Icelandair – The Europe’s Largest Asian Street Market Aircraftby Kunasekaran Kokula Krishna Hari on January 23, 2022 at 1:57 pm
Happy New Year 2022 to everyone who started the year with a blast and expecting more in the coming days! I thought of writing about my recent experience with IcelandAir, which operates between the United Kingdom and the United States of America via Iceland. This ICELAND was fascinating to me as I haven’t visited ICELAND in the past while my whole life was a lie thinking ICELAND would be full of ICE, factually, which wasn’t true. Still, I wanted to make it out through the meagre budget and other factors. Started my journey from London Heathrow Airport to New York via Iceland. I went for the check-in, and I was informed that my seat was pre-assigned and could not be changed per my preference. I was presuming that it was due to the COVID regulations they have amended, which wasn’t true at the later point of discovery. I was informed that I can take only 1 cabin baggage and any additional bags are chargeable. Since it was a brief trip, I didn’t have much and was accommodatable within the cabin bag. As they hadn’t seen my passport earlier, my counter staff went to the supervisor to check if she could The post Icelandair – The Europe’s Largest Asian Street Market Aircraft appeared first on Kokula Krishna Hari Kunasekaran Blog.
- 15 Things Credit Card companies knew about YOU!by Kunasekaran Kokula Krishna Hari on November 29, 2021 at 9:51 pm
Recently, I have been very busy with my Professional Life and was missing to write in my blog. I visited Canada a few days ago and saw lots of promotions for the so-called MASTERCARD, Credit Card, and others. Even as a visitor(present status), I secured a Mastercard for C$12,000, which is a considerable amount. I was wondering WHY and WHY? How you wield that little piece of plastic can reveal how well you care for your home, the state of your marriage, whether you’re a customer worth keeping and a lot more. You don’t have the best manners If you call even one time and get angry or use profanity, Credit Card companies may put a note on your account that you are a “verbally abusive” caller. Every time you call in after that, the customer service rep will be on guard. Here are some other behaviours that automatically make you seem like a jerk. You’re having marital problems Most credit card companies comb through cardholder data for signs of financial trouble, and they may use that to lower your credit. A Federal Trade Commission suit against CompuCredit, which marketed the Visa Aspire card, accused the company of lowering available The post 15 Things Credit Card companies knew about YOU! appeared first on Kokula Krishna Hari Kunasekaran Blog.
- German Shepherd Love – Adorable bondingby Kunasekaran Kokula Krishna Hari on May 4, 2021 at 2:13 am
German Shepherds are mostly known for their intelligence, courage, and agility. However, most GSD parents will attest to the fact that they’re incredibly affectionate. My GSD, Turbo, isn’t any exception for this. Here is a video of when I recently visited my India Home, Puducherry(formerly Pondicherry). If they could speak, they’d probably tell you they love you and appreciate you a thousand times a day. But since they can’t verbalize their feelings, they show their affection in multiple non-verbal ways. Of course, different dogs will show their love in different ways. Here are some of the most common German Shepherd signs of affection. Excitement German Shepherds usually gets excited when the owner returns back to home after a short stay away. They will be badly missing us and they express very well when we are back home. Kissing & Licking Dogs learn to lick and kiss during puppyhood. Puppies lick their mothers’ mouths as a signal that they want to get fed. Therefore, they learn early on that licking on the mouth is a way to show they want to be cared for. As they grow older, kissing also becomes a communication act. Dogs mouths and noses are incredibly sensitive. - Demystifying Marriage Portals of India – Exposing the unsaid Truths of those Business Operationsby Kunasekaran Kokula Krishna Hari on March 4, 2021 at 1:14 am
The marriage system from India is completely different from that of the entire world, known to me. The concept of Arranged Marriage is existing widely in India than the Love Marriage. India relies only on the Arranged Marriage because the parents mostly think that their wards aren’t capable of making the right decision. But the fact is that parents are bad at making those decisions and their son/daughter adjust, compromise and resilient themselves from coming out of the situations. In India, after matching caste, subcaste, gothra, horoscope, profession, salary, acres of land, property, bank balance, education, schooling, number of relatives abroad, skin color, weight, height, shape of dosa, dowry value, and eventually getting married after seeking the approval of every tom aunt, dick mama and all the fufu in the relative circle – Poor couples post captions like “True Love”, “Made for Each Other”, “Match Made in Heaven” #KokulaKrishnaHariK With my case as an example, I failed in getting associated with a very good partner for various reasons. Of all of those, I was concentrating on my career building my empire; the second of it was that I gave very little effort to those items of my life. - My take on avoiding Ven Pongal (Indian Dish)by Kunasekaran Kokula Krishna Hari on October 17, 2020 at 2:20 am
The Slow Poison, Ven Pongal or Kara Pongal is one of the primitive South Indian food. It is prepared with rice & moong dal, either to a sweet or savoury dish. Ven Pongal or Khara Pongal is the name given to the savoury version. It is offered to the GODS or diety as naivedyam not only in South Indian homes but also in temples, during regular pooja, auspicious days & festivals. Both versions of Pongal are offered to Goddess Durga & Lakshmi during Navratri, Varalakshmi puja and even on regular days. Basically, Ven Pongal is a south Indian version of the Dal khichdi. For many South Indians, it is a portion of comfort food as it is quick to prepare and is light on the stomach. It can be prepared quickly for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Pongal is protein-packed, tastes delicious with a good aroma of ghee and seasoned ingredients. It takes less than 30 minutes to make along with chutney. It tastes best when served hot or warm. OK! Coming to my story after boasting about Ghee Pongal or Kara Pongal. Days back, I really love the Kara Pongal or Ghee Pongal or Ven Pongal, (hereinafter referred as Pongal), The post My take on avoiding Ven Pongal (Indian Dish) appeared first on Kokula Krishna Hari Kunasekaran Blog.
- Indians need to survive 2 types of Moratorium Fraud in COVID2019 Difficult Timesby Kunasekaran Kokula Krishna Hari on June 5, 2020 at 12:52 am
In India, buying a home has become a Social Status for many. They don’t estimate their affordability in most of the cases which I had known. This makes them incompatible to pay their dues when a hardship situation arises. We would have funnily seen the memes which say “If you don’t love your job, take a Home Loan, you will love your job!”. Some people only for the reason of showing off, get the fancy loans and end up in crisis. And these types of people are highly found in India. After getting a Credit Card, followed by a Personal Loan, followed by a Car Loan, followed by a Marriage, followed by a Home Loan, followed by having 2 kids are considered as a Settled Person in India. OK. Now coming to our topic of discussion. In this Coronovirus which is sweetly addressed as COVID2019 by scientists, the Reserve Bank of India has offered Moratorium for all the Loan Payers of India to help this situation. Very Good initiative initially alike other options provided by the Government of India in this series. It is worth mentioning the Rs. 20000000000000 towards the economic revamping of India where I saw the announcements The post Indians need to survive 2 types of Moratorium Fraud in COVID2019 Difficult Times appeared first on Kokula Krishna Hari Kunasekaran Blog.
- Conversation with future Spouse – 30 Areas – 300+ Questionsby Kunasekaran Kokula Krishna Hari on May 22, 2020 at 11:40 pm
Way back in 2016, I was writing about the list of questions which needs to be asked to a Future Spouse before freezing our lives full of commitments and others. I was quite very busy at that time but did very good drafting at those times which had been a bible for most of my batchmates and colleagues while choosing their better halves. Most of them appreciated for my work, while a few scolded me for advising and not practising. Be is a Man or Women, the process of making a decision involves various factors. No one is the ideal match and no one is perfect including me. Life isn’t all about interrogation or questioning. But also, matching the equivalency is important. In this post, I have compiled some of the questions, which I induced my folks about what to ask and what not to ask. Try asking some day by day, not all at once. If asked, I am not responsible for any collateral damages caused. No one can define a set of questions for the better half and specifically, women are nurtured with bundles of questions. I am not concentrating on the complex riddle based questions which your The post Conversation with future Spouse – 30 Areas – 300+ Questions appeared first on Kokula Krishna Hari Kunasekaran Blog.
- Moving Country is Challenging & Turns out to be the Best of Better Decisions – Moved to London, United Kingdomby Kunasekaran Kokula Krishna Hari on March 29, 2020 at 2:18 am
If any amendments are required, please write to prm @ kokulakrishnaharik.in or DM at Facebook Introduction Before furthering, this post may be interesting only for the people who love travelling or who moved across the borders. Potentially this could be a very long multipage post. Since 2008, I have constantly been crossing borders of India vigorously for various purposes. In the year 2019, I have been locked down clearly at a fixed location and was forced to move out of the Republic of India [sarcastic]. The age of 29 is really bad to make this move and survive as a solo player. Moving abroad has allowed me to lead a life of adventure and a continuing expat life abroad. Every decision to move overseas is still one of my best, because of all the fantastic things that have happened because of them. Living abroad solo doesn’t seem like a big deal anymore, but it’s easy for me to say that after moving abroad alone, just like it is for all the people who travel alone. When you move abroad solo, you can be a completely different person to who you were at home. No one knows who you are or The post Moving Country is Challenging & Turns out to be the Best of Better Decisions – Moved to London, United Kingdom appeared first on Kokula Krishna Hari Kunasekaran Blog.
