In Detail
Regus, the global flexible workplace provider, has opened its fifth new business centre in Chennai and there are plans for more. The launch in Chennai will help local and foreign companies invest in this fast emerging IT corridor. With the new centre, the company has further consolidated its position as India’s number one provider of flexible workspaces.
Regus’ launch in Chennai further strengthens its presence in South India, where it has rapidly grown its network to 16 centres including 5 centres in Hyderabad and 6 centres in Bangalore. The business centre located at Prince Infocity II is strategically located on the IT Expressway, the fast emerging IT corridor in Chennai. It is just 2 kms from TIDEL Park and MRTS Rail Station and is very close to the National/International Air Terminal.
The business centre is within walking distance to public transport services and is well connected to the city and residential areas.
Harsh Lambah, Country Manager – India, Regus said, “Regus goes to locations that matter, places where local and international businesses congregate. We look forward to helping firms grow in both the city and the region.Flexible workspace helps businesses of all sizes work more efficiently. We’re delighted to support businesses in Chennai’s IT corridor, and we’ll be delighted to support businesses at many other new locations in 2014.” Businesses can access the ready-to-use offices with no upfront capital expenditure or long-term financial commitment. Facilities include office and meeting space, business lounges, high-speed WiFi, and professional support staff.
Prince Infocity II is the first choice, as Founder and International Secretary of Association of Scientists, Developers and Faculties (ASDF), Dr Kokula Krishna Hari K says, “Thanks to Regus, I can have a professional ready-to-use workplace in which to base my business, and the flexibility ASDF needs to grow. I think for us if anything, the ability to be productive whilst mobile is increasingly important.” He is one of the youngest international conference organizers in the current scientific world who has received the Australian Youngest Entrepreneur Award.
